It’s not that she’s not human, it’s that she looses most interest as a character. The only reason people really like her as a character is because of how hopelessly in love she is with Joker and you end up rooting for her because of how badly he treats her. When she’s alone, she’s just no where near as interesting. I wouldn’t be behind her showing up unless Joker was there too, and even then I’m not sure about her in a real world sense.

No, please. Keep Harley away. I cosplay as Harley and i do love the character, but please, no. Just cuz Joker’s around doesn’t mean she needs to be in it. Keep that stuff in BTAS. No offense, I kind of hate that notion that Harley is not fully human unless she is attached to Joker at the hip. Additionally, he has had almost seventy years without a sidekick and they both haven’t been around each other since 2001 at the very least.

hmm…interesting points, but I’m tired of Catwoman, Ivy is a mega stretch, idk if Harley could be done right without Joker (I sight the HQ comics). So she’s a maybe, but I’m not sure if Nolan is aware of blog boy whom is the only actor I want in the role now. And then all that’s left is Talia which they have the setup for, but I’m still on the fence about her. I felt like Batman Begins didn’t do very well cause most people don’t know who Ras Al Gulh is or Scarecrow for that matter…I’d like to see Talia and all, but I’m not sure if it’d work out or not.

I meant that the Nolan Bats wouldn’t underestimate a female villain, unless she was the female version of the Joker. When the bank got mobbed in TDK, his biggest mistake was when Gordon showed Batman J’s photo, Batman said, ‘One man or the entire mob?’

But say at Harvey Dent’s party at Bruce’s apartment, when Bruce came in by helicopter, he had 3 women w/ him kinda showing off what a rich playboy The Bruce Wayne part of him is. Bats would understand that the femme is more difficult on him, esp. now that in TDK, he is also being hunted by GCPD.

I don’t think Bruce sees them as just arm candy, least not the real Bruce ya know? Maybe he’d think they were weak, but batman rarely underestimates people…

Hugh Laurie would be awesome as Ed Nigma, IMHO. I think having a female as a villain would be empowering as someone for not only Bats to go up against because I think he’d not just think she’s weak, where to BRUCE it seems like they’re simply arm-candy.

I’m going against all the popular stuff and say I don’t want to see Harley in any Nolan Batman movies, nor do I want to see Johnny Depp. I honestly LIKE Johnny, don’t get me wrong, but I’d really like to see someone newer and more…surprising…take something like that on for this particular movie. Who? I sure don’t know. I’m not much into the actor scene to even know who’s who these days. Like I said, surprise me.
